CIMT2025 Serves as Global Machine Tool Cooperation Hub; GLAB’s Smart New Products Draw International Buyers

The 19th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT2025) has concluded in Beijing, attracting nearly 2,450 exhibitors from 31 countries worldwide, including over 800 foreign-funded enterprises. International giants such as Japan’s Kimura and Germany’s DMG MORI showcased new products, while Chinese local enterprise GLAB Machine Tools made its debut with 3 smart new products, becoming one of the show’s highlights. Boasting a record scale, the exhibition has established a vital platform for global machine tool industry cooperation.

Both Chinese and foreign enterprises are accelerating their layout in the Asia-Pacific market, with local firms expanding overseas through technological innovation. Foreign companies like South Korea’s Doosan and DMG MORI displayed localized products, while GLAB’s core exhibits included the GLAB-AI Smart Machining Center and GLAB-M 5-Axis Machining Center. Among them, the GLAB-AI Machining Center, equipped with an independently developed intelligent system supporting voice programming and real-time early warning, can complete complex part programming in just 2 minutes, attracting negotiations with European buyers. Wang Tao, GLAB’s Technical Director, stated: “The core algorithm has undergone thousands of industrial verifications and has been mass-applied in the automotive parts and aerospace sectors.”

Centered on the theme “Integrated Innovation, Digital-Intelligent Future”, the exhibition focused on the integration of AI, IoT and the machine tool industry. The global’s first “Huazhong-10” CNC system integrated with an AI chip was launched, garnering widespread attention. Industry organizations from 13 countries participated as groups, conducting discussions on CNC standardization, cross-border collaboration and other topics, and reaching multiple cooperation intentions.

Mao Yufeng, Chairman of the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association, noted that the Chinese market provides certainty for the global industry. During the exhibition, Chinese and foreign enterprises secured over $10 billion in orders, with cross-border cooperation accounting for 35%. GLAB also achieved remarkable results, signing letters of intent for the purchase of GLAB-M 5-Axis Machining Centers and technical services with enterprises from Turkey, Indonesia and the Czech Republic, with a total order value exceeding $200 million.
